Start with a 70:30 arabica-robusta blend ground fine for a filter. Add two heaped teaspoons of powder to the upper chamber, press gently, and pour hot water just off the boil. Let it drip slowly — rushing it makes the decoction bitter. A traditional ratio is one part decoction to two parts hot milk, with sugar to taste. Warm the tumbler first. Small things, better coffee.
